Department of Housing

The Department of Housing Assistance provides rental subsidies for low income eligible families. The program offers the family a more affordable place to live while assuring safe and decent housing.

The Department currently staffs three positions. The Housing Assistance Coordinator administers the Certificate, Voucher and Moderate Rehabilitation Programs, which are monitored under the NYS Department of Housing and Community Renewal guidelines and the Housing and Urban Development regulations. The program is 100% funded through the Federal Government.
